Dr. Rajeena Shahin is one of the most ardent champions of Transforming Healthcare with Therapeutic Lifestyle Interventions in India. She has 2 decades of experience in health care in various capacities, of which the last 14 years are in Nutrition & Lifestyle Intervention. She founded 2 companies one in HealthCare and the other in Education. Invest on Health (IOH) Pvt Ltd, a Healthcare Tech focused on Lifestyle Medicine interventions was founded in 2015 running the same since then. She is also a budding author and is keenly sought after for her perspectives and guidance in the field. In 2022 she joined as the Medical Director for “Physician’s Association for Nutrition India” with a mission to educate & empower Medical professionals about the power of Evidence-based Nutrition.
Major achievements & contributions
She is one of the first ones to Leverage technology to revolutionize Lifestyle Medicine practice
& thus founded Invest On Health (IOH) with her Techie Husband. IOH is a Health-Tech platform
facilitating comprehensive Therapeutic Lifestyle Interventions & has transformed the lives of
more than 2500 clients of various demographics as of 2022.
As a pioneer in lifestyle medicine, she has championed the cause at various forums including
ISLM (Indian Society of Lifestyle Medicine), PCRM (Physicians Committee for Responsible
Medicine) & also at various corporate organizations & even at the community level. She also
held the position of Director of Alliance, Advocacy, and Membership at ISLM from 2020 to
2022. She conducted various talks, events, outreach programs, and awareness programs in
Preventive Health & Lifestyle Medicine.
For the last 12 years, she has devoted significant energy to analyzing a large pool of nutrition
data in connection with health and diseases and designed systems, processes, and tools to
facilitate behavioral changes. She is a Medical graduate of T.D. Medical College, Kerala,
postgraduate in Management from Bharathidasan University, Trichy, TN, and a Diplomate of
the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine (IBLM). She was the topscorer of IBLM 2020.
Major Projects
Currently, with her role in PAN, she has started establishing institutional tie-ups to take the
mission forward, some of these are AIIMS Nagpur, BMCRI, etc. Under the PAN project, 500+
medical practitioners signed up and she is instrumental in training the doctors on Nutrition.
She is on a mission to create PAN-Med College Associations with every reputed med college in
India to bring about some level of structure to the training and development. She is also
involved with training PAN volunteers on the domain of “Evidence-based nutrition”.
She provides consultations on women's health to other forums such as Women 360, and for
interns at Kellog’s School of Management, etc

with an intense focus on evidence-based therapeutic approaches to nutrition & lifestyle. This,
